NERDA plan to establish a national-level, integrated educational database and implement the concept of value-added application. In addition, with the scientific model of educational data, the academic research community would provide advice, supporting statistics, and trend forecasts for students, teachers, school administrators, and policy-oriented issues.
Once establish the "National Educational Research Data Archive (NERDA)," we can recognize students' learning effectiveness, evaluate school governance and development, provide legitimacy for the formulation and decision-making of educational policies, and enhance the capability of academic research.
Consequently, we can evaluate education's value and quality in Taiwan by scientific data rather than public opinion.
